The ground floor of the property has a limestone floor heated from below and is set out in an L shape with four distinct areas: the living area, kitchen, dining area and laundry room with downstairs toilet.

The living area has a large L shaped sofa with matching arm chair, a television with satelite Freeview channels and a large open fireplace. The original canopy and fire place were kept but the floor had to be excavated as the house had a sloping floor when originally constructed. The hearth was built up to allow a place to store logs and a retaining wall incorporated along the far end.

The dining area has a large painted wooden table that can seat 14 people. This is self evidently hand made by the owners but not bad for a first effort at woodwork and does the job!

The kitchen is hand made (not by the owner) and painted with a wooden surface (not to be used as a chopping board!) It has an induction hob, electric oven, extractor, butler sink, fridge and dishwasher.

The laundry room houses a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, the fuse cupboard and two large storage cupboards. There is a seperate toilet off this room and a hanging airer for drying clothes if required.

The Living Areas

Upstairs

The upper floors are reached via a wooden staircase. The flooring above the ground floor is oak with the limestone tiles again featuring in the bathrooms.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom has a Queen size double bed and an en suite shower room. This bedroom has an antique painted French armoire from MG Brocante at Pleugriffet. The armoire is traditional in that it has shelving rather than hanging space.

The second bedroom has a Queen size double bed and a large built-in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelving.

The third bedroom is a twin room with a similar large built-in wardrobe.

The bathroom is a large, airy room with a quadrant shower, toilet, large sink, heated towel rail and free standing bath.

On the second floor are two further bedrooms one with two single beds and the other with three. Both have chests of drawers and there is hanging space in the large cupboard on the landing. Please note that care needs to be taken with the low beams on this floor for anyone over about 5'8".
