ABOUT No. 5 GUILLERON

No. 5 Guilleron is one of 7 houses in the tiny hamlet of Guilleron close to Tregranteur in the Morbihan area of Brittany. The house was renovated in 2008 from the shell of the hamlet's original farm house and is close to the historic market town of Josselin and also to Ploermel's water sport and golf facitilites at Lac au Duc.

The conversion of this old farm house completed the renovation of the five buildings on one side of the small road leading to the chateau at Tregranteur. On the other side of the road is a working dairy and arable farm which uses the fields around the hamlet for crops or grazing in rotation.

The situation of the property is extremely rural. It is quiet and a very safe environment for children.  The pace of life is totally different to modern day living in the UK. It is essential to have a car but the area directly around the property is excellent for walking and cycling.
